Londis x Sparkhub

Sparkhub handles

  • Daily content planning & posting

  • Promo graphics for stories and feed

  • Occasional in-store print designs

  • Community interaction through replies & DMs

Challenges

Before Sparkhub stepped in, the Londis Kelvindale branch had:

• No consistent online presence
• Low visibility of promotions beyond in-store foot traffic
• Minimal engagement with the local community on social platforms
There was a disconnect between the store’s strong in-person customer base and its lack of activity online — meaning opportunities were being missed to retain and re-engage local shoppers digitally.

Solutions

To close that gap, we implemented a lightweight but high-impact strategy:

• Rolled out daily social media posts highlighting in-store promotions, new arrivals, and time-sensitive deals
• Designed branded, consistent visuals that made the store instantly recognizable online
• Engaged directly with the community by replying to DMs and comments, building trust and interaction
• Leveraged the store’s existing loyal customers, turning them into repeat online engagers by consistently posting content they cared about
• Launched giveaways and special promos through stories and posts to spark even more activity and word-of-mouth

Results

The results were fast and tangible:

  • Dramatic increase in story views, DMs, and post engagement

  • More questions from customers about offers, opening hours, and stock

  • Locals began visiting the store after seeing posts, with staff confirming that footfall aligned with our most popular content

  • Social media became a key communication tool between the store and its community
